Groundbreaking Ceremony at St. Paul's

This past Sunday, November 10, the faithful of the Meeting of Our Lord Serbian Orthodox Church joined the congregation of St. Paul Orthodox Christian Church for a historic groundbreaking ceremony led by Bishop Nicholas of the Diocese of Miami and the Southeast of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. This significant event marked the beginning of construction on a new addition to St. Paul’s facilities, a project dedicated to expanding resources for the Orthodox community in Naples, FL.

With prayers led by Bishop Nicholas, the ceremony brought together clergy, parishioners, and friends from across the Orthodox community. Fr. Vladislav Golic and parishioners from the Meeting of Our Lord parish joined Fr. Paul Girgis and the faithful of St. Paul’s, showing their support and solidarity in this important milestone. The ceremony was filled with prayers for God’s blessing on the construction process, as well as gratitude for the continued growth of Orthodoxy in the area.

The gathering highlighted the close bonds within the Orthodox parishes in Naples, with both communities united in their shared mission to spread the faith and serve their neighbors.
