The Circle of Serbian Sisters of the Meeting of our Lord Serbian Orthodox Church in Naples, Florida, came together to honor their slava, the Feast of the Entrance into the Temple of the Most Holy Mother of God (Vavedenje). This cherished annual tradition took place on Sunday, December 8th, and was marked with heartfelt prayers, fellowship, and a strong sense of unity among all who attended.

The Divine Liturgy was central to the celebration, during which the traditional cutting of the slava kolach took place. This year, we were honored to have our sister Vesna Veselinovic as the kuma of the slava.

After the Liturgy, everyone gathered for a festive meal lovingly prepared by our kuma Vesna and the dedicated sisters of the parish. The delicious dishes reflected their hard work, hospitality, and commitment to making this event memorable for all.

The slava was well-attended, with many parishioners and guests joining in the celebration. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and the joy of being together as a church family. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our bonds and give thanks for the blessings bestowed upon our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Vesna and all the sisters who contributed their time and talents to this beautiful celebration. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Cindy Golusin has volunteered to be the kuma for next year's slava. A special thank you to Protinica Marija Stojanovic of St. Petersburg for her thoughtful contribution of the beautiful flower arrangements for our Kolo Slava celebration. May God grant many years to all who participated and bless our Circle of Serbian Sisters as we continue to grow in faith and fellowship.
